Karibu!Mangrove Walking and Sup Board tour is an everyday 1 hour tour during the low tides. This adventure tour is the best way to explore the mangrove forest and various living marine species in Bwejuu Mangrove Salt Water. With a local expert guide leading you the way and learn about this unique mangrove ecosystem plentiful with wildlife both below and above the water. The guide will explain the history of mangroves and their importance learn how to plant mangrove, the life of crabs and their contribution in preserving mangrove. Tour starts with small introduction from the expert guide after which will take a walk 8 to 10 minutes from the first point passing along the mud narrow water ways until to the big mangrove canal inside the local called it Kina with bays, sand banks and small islands formed by mangrove trees where water doesn’t dry at all even at low tide. Then at inside will take a Stand Up Paddle Board and paddle through the big canals and narrow water ways. While floating in the mangrove with bountiful ecosystems you will see medicinal, ornamental mangrove trees their roots dipping in the salt water. Also you will be able to see various animals that live in the water, on land and that passing on the air include;, crabs and gastropods climbing the mangrove trees, school of fishes, butterflies, flocks of birds like kingfishers, herons, flamingos and more. Finally we will finish by snorkeling if the water is clear and have a short break in the mangrove and paddle downwind or walk back to the station passing the mangrove narrow water ways and get snacks (water and tropical fruits)
